Brett Baker – @bigredintejas
An award winning television journalist & producer with more than 20 years of broadcast media experience. Brett is the Senior Producer for KSAT 12 Sports where he produces 15 sportscasts every week, twice named as the Associated Press’ Best Sportscast in the state of Texas. He is a proud graduate of the U.S. Military’s Defense Information School. His career has taken to him to 17 countries, covering everything from the war in the Balkans to the Super Bowl. A proponent for the social aspect of social media you can find him on Twitter as @BigRedInTejas and his tumblr blog, The Twelitist.
Nora Frost – @norafrost
Originally from a media and public relations background, Nora is now conquering the business aspect of the BMPR acronym. Her company Dos Culturas works with entertainers, artists, nonprofits and businesses to influence multicultural communities. Nora helps head up the San Antonio Association of Hispanic Journalists Scholarship Gala and the Bumpers (BMPR Social Media Awards). She may have gone to school at Baylor University and Middlebury College, but credits her education to the great BMPR circle of influence. (Aw…. Misty eyes.) Brenda Munoz – @brenmunoz + @purosanantonio
Brenda’s title is technically “stay at home parent” to 3 gremlins, ages 7, 7, and 5. When she isn’t wrangling them, she is busy handling the marketing and PR for the Alamo City Roller Girls, and is studying for a degree in Clinical Laboratory Science. Brenda is also the voice behind facebook.com/PuroSanAntonio, and purosanantonio.com (under construction) where she considers herself to be the unofficial cheerleader for the city of San Antonio. She helped put together this year’s first BMPR Awards and is already planning for next year. Brenda is happy to be a new social media addict, and is proof it can bring everyone together.
