Not really. But it is the first anniversary of the group that eventually became #BMPR. It was the first time I had ever laid eyes on @regalaffair and @momonmars. They are still working through the recovery process.
#BMPR has provided some great opportunities to network and learn about the best uses of social media. It has also been an amazing timesuck. The meetings pull you away from work for at least an hour and a half, if not two hours.
So we’re going to make the March meeting all about sucking the time out of your day while sitting at your computer and looking productive. We’re talking, distractions, fun & games and general social media shenanigans. (But please, leave the kazoos at home.)
We’re also hoping to have some great speakers who know a thing or two about wasting time. The details will follow.
So mark your calendar for March 25 at the Holiday Inn San Antonio International Airport.
Housekeeping: Please don’t bring outside food to #BMPR unless it’s hanging off an IV stand. You don’t HAVE to buy the lunch, but bringing your own is just rude.
