SmillaEnlarger - allows you to resize photos from small to large with minimal loss in quality.

Fotoglif and Picapp – free and licensed images for blogs and websites with ads built into them to pay for the photo

GIMP, Pixlr, Aviary – can’t or don’t want to afford Photoshop? Do your editing on one of these free programs instead. They’re robust.

Warning Sign Generator and Street Sign Generator – never stole a street sign when you were young? The street sign at your home tells a different story. If you need to make one, try one of these tools.

LOLCat Builder – even if you hate cats, you love LOLcats. Now you can create “UR” own photo.

BeFunky – get your inner Warhol out with one click.

Tuxpi - dying to create a motivational poster or a fake postage stamp, get your image effects here.

Skitch (Mac Only) – easy screen captures with editing, text and sharing capabilities all wrapped in a flour tortilla here. (Tortilla not included)

Background Image Maker, Kollermedia, Kalliber – is your website design looking flat? Get rockin’ good patterns here, just don’t make it look like MySpace, k?

Aarinfreephoto, Freefoto, FreePhotoBank, FreePixels, FreeStockPhotography, FreeWebPhoto, MorqueFile, OpenStockPhotography, PixelPerfectDigital, SierraStock, SXC, VintagePixels - all of these provide free stock photos for your viewing pleasure.

Creative Commons Search – search for photos with Creative Commons licensing.

    Really great list! I love how it was available immediately after and I didn’t have to take notes, detracting from Nan’s talk! Wonderful 1st BMPR experience, looking forward to more!

    Shrink O’Matic is a desktop app you can easily download for FREE and then drag and drop:

    *File output can be the same (gif, png, jpg, etc.) or different.
    **File size can be specified explicitly or by percentage.
    **Names can be the same or specificed.

    Its simple, intuitive, gets the job done! :D
